This universal test adapter is suitable for all digital I/O-units. It is a great help in everyday maintenance work because it can be either used directly (i. e. MIO, XIO) or via cable adapter (i. e. DFI, SSR, RPI, etc.).
This adapter automatically identifies the likely modules such as e.g. relais (PLA-140 or alike), double current drivers (DST-60), sinus outputs (SPG-A) or double current inputs (CCL-units).

The test adapter has a little processor unit that imperceptibly analyses each channel and identifies its type based on the channel's reactions. The recognized channel type is then displayed on an LED that also diplays the channel tpye's location. Each channel is assigned to a DUO LED that can either be red or green, depending on the channel's status: red stands for a passive (switched off) channel; green stands for an active (switched on) channel. Inputs can be switched into either status via input-specific switch-keys. However, the process signals need to be separated from the unit by simply disconnecting the front plug.

For those units that supply a signalling voltage the signalling voltage is diplayed on an additional LED. Should new channel connecting types be added in the future the software in the test adapters can easily and quickly be updated so that the new types are supported in no time.

This easy to use, mobile unit is of great help - especially in field operations.
The unit measures: HxWxD 50x190x140mm and weighs about 500g.
